Can you get a photo showing the base of a leaf? It should continue down onto the stem as a ridge if it is Acacia decurrens.

Betty, I have added two images that might be what you are after. Can you recommend a key to the current Acacias present in the ACT bush? I have the Flora of the ACT, Flora of NSW 1st ed, Laurie Adams Black Mtn key and Leon Costermans (1983 edn) and lots of the information is out of date, of limited coverage and inconsistent.

The new version of WATTLE is available free on line. This is the non-Java version. http://keys.lucidcentral.org/key-server/player.jsp;jsessionid=027A8A643F1C19580EB468DF6E87B9D0?keyId=100 It is not as good as the Java version, but does not get blocked every time Java puts out a new version. PlantNET is the up to date version of Flora of NSW http://plantnet.rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au/search/simple.htm Of the books I prefer Flora of the ACT. However, being 35 years old, there are a lot of species not in it. I would also take the measurements in it with a grain of salt.
