Absolute monster sized Earth Star puff ball things!

This is an old Scleroderma, species uncertain. Initially the fungus developed as a thick skin holding a mass of purplish-brown spores. The thick skin splits radially and the sectors then fold out to expose the powdery spore mass for dispersal by wind.
