Author's notes

A lot of nests. I'm tempted to say Coconut ant due to the smell but have never seen a sighting of coconut ants NOT on Eucalyptus.

Thanks. I've seen quite a few of these in wattles over time, not always with ants present, so pleased to confirm coconut ant. Will be more conscious of reporting these in future.
