Author's notes

Growing on the dry bed of Buckleys Lake in thousands, and in small numbers among basalt surface rock on the eastern shore (second photo, taken a couple of hundred metres from the first). This plant (Omeo Storksbill) is confined to the shoreline of Monaro upland lakes when they are full of water, then follows the receding water line down as they dry out. Listed as threatened in NSW and nationally, known from 5 or 6 sites in NSW, plus Lake Omeo.
