This is not a species I am familiar with. There is no closeup of the wet leaves and I cannot tell when I blow the photo up whether they have coarse hairs or not.

Hi Betty is there any chance it could be prostanthera phylicifolia?

Those two species are very close together in the Plantnet key. The key character that separates them is whether the leaves are hairless or not. I got the impression from the photo that there were the occasional coarse hairs on the leaf edges which would have made it decussata. On looking at the photo again I now think they were probably hairless.

Yes and the fact that the leaves were covered in rain drops makes it even harder. I think hairless. Thank you so much
