Insects of South-Eastern Australia: - great book now available

The guide not only helps identify 500 of the more common or interesting insects of our area but also tells us about their environment, classification, life history, feeding strategies and behaviour. Fascinating boxes on camouflage, mimicry and many other topics are also included throughout. This book by Roger Farrow will be really helpful when we expand the invertebrate groups covered by Canberra Nature Map - later this year. it retails from CSIRO publishing for $45. The Botanic Gardens bookshop has copies.
